TESTIMONY PART 2

TESTIMONY PART 2

When Cindy Jacobs told me to print out my website, she was thinking that some disaster might befall the internet which would wipe out all the data on it. I thought this was somewhat far fetched, but on my return home I discovered that my website www.revival.org, had totally disappeared from the web. Evidently, the people in charge of ‘.org’ domain names in America had written to my website designer about something, but had not received a response, so took my website down. My website designer had not received any communication. This has focused my mind, just one man can push a button and your website is gone! I am currently trying to work out the best way to print out my website. 

Do you remember what happened in King Josiah’s reign in 2 Kings 22? During restoration of the Temple a man found the Book of the Law – the law of Moses (the Pentateuch). The Book was then read to King Josiah and his response was to tear his clothes. He realised that “great is the wrath of the LORD that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.” (2 Kings 22:13) Josiah made changes in the nation as laid out in the Book of the Law and revival came.

I believe that the enemy caused the Book of the Law to be hidden, knowing that without it the nation would fall into demon worship; which is what happened. He also knew that the testimonies in the Book would influence the King to follow God’s laws and it would turn the nation away from evil.

It is my opinion that Testimony is so important that the enemy tries all he can to destroy it or stop it from happening. How often have people not given their testimony because they are embarrassed, afraid, unsure etc? I suggest many times, and each time the enemy has influenced us in a way that prevents the incredible stories of God from being told.

God recently showed me once again the power of His Testimony. I was speaking at a conference on the Baptism of Fire, during which I read out several testimonies from revivalists who had had an encounter with the Lord. Two people told me that as I read out the testimonies they felt wave after wave of the Holy Spirit pouring over them.

I urge you to take every opportunity to read testimonies of the past, every day if possible. Also, ensure that you have testimonies of your own to speak out. If we are living out a Spirit filled walk we should have testimonies to relate every day. Each day look for opportunities for the Lord to display his awesome love and power.
