The last two nights I have been to Rodney Howard Browne meetings in Walton-on-Thames. For those of you who do not know he was the catalyst for the ‘Toronto Blessing’ and has been used by the Lord to bring millions into the Kingdom.
His message was – go out and bring in the lost, heal the sick etc. He said that none of us needs anything else, we are all ready, we have everything we need; we just need to get out there.
He recently held 2 weeks of meetings in Washington DC, and with the help of 220 local churches, 31,000 gave their lives to Jesus (I do not know if this included re-commitments). He announced last night that he has decided to come to London for two weeks, at a time to be decided.
One English pastor heard an appeal from RHB on the God Channel, for help in Washington. Although really busy, this guy flew out to help. He had never done street evangelism before, but he found himself in a dangerous part of town and started to do what he had been taught. He led 70 people to the Lord while there. He asked the Lord for 100 in a month and on returning home he led 30 more to the Lord, the last one on the last day of the month.
I spoke to a woman in her late sixties (I think) who had heard RHB’s message this week, and she has gone out and led 6 to the Lord.
This is the time guys. As I have been saying this week – Revival is here, we just need to go out and walk in it. A woman I know, who was at HTB but now seems to be assisting RHB; is back in England now and is making herself available to assist any pastors who want help to organise their people to go out on the streets.
So be encouraged, God is on the move.
